Integration enables institutional users to seamlessly stake Bitcoin and CORE tokens directly from Ceffu custody accounts, unlocking enhanced Bitcoin yields
LAS VEGAS [Bitcoin 2025] –May 27, 2025 – Core Foundation, the entity powering Core—Bitcoin’s first Proof-of-Stake (PoS) layer and the largest Bitcoin DeFi ecosystem—announced their Bitcoin Staking integration with Ceffu, one of Asia’s premier digital asset custodians.
It enables institutional and retail users on Ceffu’s platform to directly participate in Core’s innovative Dual Staking model, seamlessly staking CORE tokens alongside Bitcoin (BTC) for enhanced yields.
As of April 2025, institutional investors hold about 8% of Bitcoin’s total supply (1.67 million BTC), not including holdings by private entities or miners. Another 14 million BTC – around two-thirds of all Bitcoin—sits in wallets with little to no spending activity.
One possible path to putting this idle Bitcoin to work is for holders to stake their Bitcoin—and this integration between Ceffu and Core makes that easier than ever for both institutional and retail users.
