An individual involved in cryptocurrency trading, particularly interested in artificial intelligence (AI) projects, has reportedly generated profits exceeding $17 million from investments in various AI-focused tokens. Recent on-chain data indicates a shift towards investing in new memecoins. According to an analysis shared by Lookonchain on X, the trader’s significant gains originated from early positions taken in tokens such as GOAT, ai16z, Fartcoin, and ARC.
Crypto Enthusiast Makes $17 Million from AI Coins
Lookonchain, as reported on X, stated, “Impressive profits of over $5.14M on GOAT, $4.5M on ai16z, $4M on Fartcoin, and $4M on arc. Let’s delve into the trader’s current token investments.”
The trader’s most profitable investment reportedly came from GOAT, entering the token when its total market cap was below $2 million. With an initial investment of approximately $62,000 for around 11.1 million GOAT tokens, the trader eventually sold all tokens for approximately $5.2 million, resulting in a profit of $5.14 million.
Another successful venture was with ai16z, a decentralized AI-powered trading fund on the Solana blockchain. The trader invested $123,000 to acquire 6.17 million ai16z tokens when its market cap was $22 million. By selling a portion of the tokens and retaining some, the profit from ai16z amounts to over $4.5 million.
The trader also saw significant gains from Fartcoin, purchased at a market cap below $7 million. Acquiring 9.46 million tokens for $121,000, the trader sold a portion while keeping the rest, resulting in a profit of approximately $4 million.
Similarly, investments in ARC were fruitful, with $212,000 initially invested in acquiring 11.6 million tokens. Selling a portion and retaining the rest, the profit from ARC totals $4 million.
The trader has recently diversified into smaller-cap memecoins like CREATE, PIPPIN, SANDY, MOLE, and FORGE. By selling off portions of existing investments, such as Fartcoin and Wrapped SOL (WSOL) units, the trader has secured funds for these new ventures.
The strategic allocation of funds into these memecoins indicates a calculated approach to expanding the trader’s portfolio. Current market prices show GOAT trading at $0.52.
