Du Launches Cloud Miner To Make Bitcoin Cloud Mining Easy For Everyone

du has introduced “Cloud Miner”, a new Cloud Mining as a Service (MaaS) platform designed to simplify entry into the cryptocurrency mining sector for UAE residents. Cloud Miner is part of the company’s ‘du Tech’ portfolio and leverages du’s nationwide data centres and advanced ICT infrastructure. Instead of purchasing mining hardware or securing high electricity capacity, users can rent computing power through subscription packages. The bidding process for these mining subscriptions will run on Online Auction from November 3 to 9.

By providing mining capacity via the cloud, du removes the complexity usually associated with bitcoin mining, including equipment setup, energy consumption, maintenance, and technical risk. Once a customer subscribes, mining operations begin almost instantly, granting users access to potential Bitcoin rewards and participation in the wider blockchain and crypto markets without the burden of self-operated infrastructure.

Jasim AlAwadi, CICTO at du, stated that the initiative aligns with the company’s mission to support secure, transparent, and compliant digital finance solutions across the UAE. He emphasized that Cloud Miner reflects du’s commitment to innovation and reliability, offering customers an accessible route to cryptocurrency mining backed by enterprise-grade technology and telecom-level security standards.

Subscribers will be able to secure a 24-month contract with access to 250 TH/s of mining power through a simple web interface. du highlights competitive pricing and a clear, no-hidden-fees model. Security and regulatory compliance are central to the service, with UAE Pass integration for identity verification, robust KYC/AML controls for high-value transactions, and Two-Factor Authentication to protect user accounts.

According to AlAwadi, Cloud Miner demonstrates du’s evolution from a traditional telecom operator into a catalyst for emerging digital-economy technologies, from cloud and cybersecurity to blockchain-enabled services.

The company stresses that transparency and trust remain core principles of the new offering, with Cloud Miner positioned as a secure entry point for both first-time crypto participants and experienced users exploring alternatives to physical mining setups. The launch further strengthens the UAE’s standing as a crypto-friendly hub fostering regulated digital assets services and sustainable bitcoin mining solutions.
